The tapered legs give the bed a delicate feel, while the nearly 2″ thick hardwood provides more than enough strength for any situation. The hardware used to connect the rails to the headboard and footboard provides an unequaled level of strength and rigidity. Very similar to our Bed No. 4.5, but with squared instead of rounded legs.

We use a natural (and food-safe) oil/wax finish to protect and highlight the beauty of the wood so that it can be enjoyed in day-to-day activities by all ages without fear. Any spills can easily be wiped off and, over time, a simple application of oil will revitalize the piece as needed based on personal preference. Yes, it’s designed to be beautiful, but it’s also built to be lived in and a part of your family’s life.

ASSEMBLY

This bed is easily assembled in under 5 minutes, using sturdy interlocking hardware to attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard. Slats support the mattress, as well as an adjustable center support leg, leaving no need for a superfluous box spring.
