Though delicate in design, this bed is remarkably sturdy and stout. The design goal was to have a bed that is both simple in appearance and that gives a strong presence. To have the headboard extend 6″ on either side past the footprint of the rest of the bed frame lends to making a statement in the room without feeling bulky.

Bed is constructed with all mortise and tenon joinery using solid 1.5″ and 2″ wood, yet breaks down simply and easily.
