This bed frame is essentially our loss leader – we hope this bed frame represents an incredible value for someone looking for a handmade solid hardwood platform bed that will last a lifetime. We make a lot of bed designs, all of which I am very proud of, but this more simple design is essentially being offered at cost for those that like simplicity and handmade quality.

This bed is the epitome of simple elegance. All solid wood and the headboard and footboard are comprised of mortise and tenon joinery to legitimately last a lifetime.

Description

This platform bed can be optioned with storage underneath, as all of our bed frames can be.

A minimalist side table addition is available ($250 for one, $400 for two).

Or pair with any of our nightstands or dressers.

WOOD TYPE

Available in any domestic hardwood including Walnut, Maple, White Oak, Ash, and Cherry. Figured walnut available as an upgrade.

FINISH

We use a natural (and food-safe) oil/wax finish to protect and highlight the beauty of the wood so that it can be enjoyed in day-to-day activities by all ages without fear. Any spills can easily be wiped off and, over time, a simple application of oil will revitalize the platform bed as needed based on personal preference. Yes, it’s designed to be beautiful, but it’s also built to be lived in and a part of your family’s life.
